Work iT Vs Livin Proof

24/05/09 Livin Proof vs Work iT Last weekend, two of the biggest nights in London came together for a road block event at Cargo. The magnitude of the occasion was made apparent from the minute the doors opened at 9pm, by 9:10pm it was almost one in one out with a line that looked set to be there for the night.

Frisco Album Launch 14.05.09

For those of you that like Grime, Frisco should need no introduction, however for our less learned friends (that care to know) Frisco aka ‘Big Fris’ is a grime MC coming out of Tottenham North London. He is a member of the ‘Boy Better Know’ collective & was one of the original members of the ‘TMT’ crew. Frisco has been in the game seriously since 2003 and is most known for his MC battle he had with Wiley and his Back to the Lab mix tape series. His flow and delivery has gained him a well deserved and respected reputation as one of the best lyricists within the scene and his latest mixtape is his last before his eagerly anticipated debut album ‘Fully Grown’.

The Vol 3 launch was held at ‘The Social’ on Portland Street which was a good venue to see & hear Frisco perform tracks from the CD. He was accompanied by an all-star line up of MC’s and DJ’s who performed with him and he had many stars from the scene watching from the audience (Bashy, Wretch 32 and Pyrelli to name a few).

The show was one of the best id ever seen, Frisco more than delivers live and when backed by the Boy Better Know Stable he defiantly puts on a good show. And for a free event on a Thursday night Im more than glad too have not missed out.

Here are a few exclusive shoots from the night with more coming soon.
